Study Abroad: Approved Programs

A number of options for study off-campus during second-semester sophomore year or junior year are available to CMC students. To apply students are expected to have a minimum cumulative CMC GPA of  9.0 during Fall and 8.5 during Spring but students with a cumulative GPA below 8.5 may petition the Off-Campus Study Committee for permission to study abroad during the spring semester. Many programs require a higher GPA of at least a 9.00 GPA for courses in the major. Applicants must be full-time students and students' accounts should be current. Any sanctions due to a judicial case against a student must be completed prior to leaving for abroad, plus, clearance to go abroad needs to be granted by the Dean of Students. Transfer students are eligible to apply as soon as they enroll at CMC.
